Septic Technician Position at Speedy Rooter Plumbing
Speedy Rooter Plumbing is looking for a self-motivated septic technician to pump and repair septic systems and drive to various locations to service septic tanks in Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas. You should be able to operate a pump truck, locating, digging up, and pumping septic systems, acting as a helper on plumbing jobs, delivering equipment, diagnosing and repairing septic systems including sewage and effluent pumps. Since 1996, Speedy Rooter Plumbing has been central Virginia’s trusted name for septic services, and we’re seeking skilled technicians to join our growing team.
As a septic technician with Speedy Rooter Plumbing, you’ll work with residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout central Virginia. Our company maintains two septic pump trucks, a backhoe, and a dump truck for excavation needs, ensuring you have the equipment necessary to complete every job efficiently. We’re authorized Terralift technicians and specialize in drain field restoration using environmentally safe procedures. You’ll be part of a family-owned business that values quality work, customer service, and employee development. Septic Technician Requirements and Schedule
We need experienced septic technicians who take pride in their work and deliver excellent service to every customer. This position requires technical knowledge, physical capability, and strong customer interaction skills.
Job Requirements:
- Septic system knowledge
- Current Class B CDL with tanker endorsement
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to dig out septic tank lids and pull hoses
- Reliable and self-motivated
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week + on-call rotation
